The murals were executed in oil on the church wall behind the altar. They measured 8x 12 feet, depicting
"Jesus in the Garden" and "Jesus, the Good Shepherd".
Mayor Frank P.Meyer unveiled the paintings during a service dedicated to the murals and Rev. A.F. Bremicker D.D. pastor of First Presbyterian Church gave address on "Jesus in the Garden" and on "Jesus the Good shepherd" was given by Rev. F. R. Doland of the Lincoln Methodist Church.
Rev. Tobias Hutchins of Second Baptist was the master of ceremonies , the Rev. W. A. Searcy was host pastor.
