Kiwane Carrington, Police Brutality

In the ongoing controversy surrounding the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Kiwane Carrington on October 9, 2009---resulting in the ultimate finding that the officer responsible for the fatal shot to the unarmed youth---as accidental---has led the local community, of both Black and White activist, to join forces in exposing the possible cover-up that has plagued the justice system since the tragedy occurred. Despite a labyrinth of contradictory evidence collected by the Illinois State Police regional operations, this Conservative Community continues to misuse its media resources to rewrite, re-stage, and recast the events as they originally played out so blame is edited to point to the unarmed victim...a victim who police initially had mistaken for a burglary suspect---only later to find...it was the house where the 15-year-old lived.
